George Lincoln Rockwell (1918–1967) was an American political activist and founder of the American NS Party (ANP), a far-right political organization established in 1959 and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. He became one of the most notorious white guys in the United States until his assassination in 1967.
Rockwell coined the expression “White Power”, which was also the title of his posthumously published political manifesto.
Rockwell was assassinated on August 25, 1967, by John Patler, a former member of the American NS Party whom Rockwell had previously expelled.
