Teozoologie (or Theozoologie) is an occult-racial theory developed by Jörg Lanz von Liebenfels in the early 20th century. It combines theology, mythology and racial mysticism, and is often cited as one of the ideological precursors to esoteric NS.

Main Ideas:

Lanz’s Theozoology argued that:

• Humanity was originally created as a noble race of Aryan god-men imbued with divine light or “electrons”

• These beings degenerated by interbreeding with inferior “animalistic” humanoids (“beast-men“)

• The “lower races” were literal descendants of beast-men, lacking divine essence

• The goal of society should be to purify the Aryan bloodline and restore divine order

• He advocated for eugenics, sterilization and racial segregation to eliminate “beast-men”
