The «BMW R 75» PVC patch
SKU: W497
Description
The original BMW R75 was a heavy class motorcycle + sidecar built for the German Army during WWII. Its standout feature was a two-wheel drive arrangement: it provided drive not only to the rear wheel of the motorcycle, but also to the sidecar wheel via a shaft and differential. It also incorporated a transfer case giving alternative gearing for on-road vs off-road use, and reverse gear capability. Because of these features, it was highly maneuverable over rough terrain, capable of very low speeds to match infantry, and suitable for mixed-terrain use.
