Ernst Jünger (1895–1998) was a German writer, philosopher, and soldier, best known for his vivid and reflective accounts of war. His most famous book is "Storm of Steel" (In Stahlgewittern), published in 1920, which chronicles his experiences as a frontline infantry officer during WWI.
