Description
HUR MOU stands for Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (in Ukrainian: Головне управління розвідки Міністерства оборони України, abbreviated ГУР МОУ). It is Ukraine’s military intelligence agency — similar to the U.S. DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) or the U.K.'s Defence Intelligence.

Their emblem often features an owl — symbols commonly associated with intelligence and night operations. Their motto is "Sapiens Dominabitur Astris" (Latin) meaning "The wise will rule over the stars."
