The Ancestral Heritage (German for "Ahnenerbe ", full name: "Deutsches Ahnenerbe – Studiengesellschaft für Geistesurgeschichte, Deutsches Erbe") was a German organization established in 1935 by H. H., Herman Wirth, and Richard Walther Darré. Initially created to study the archaeological and cultural history of the Nordic race.​
